EL HEADPIECE DE ESPINAS
A multifunctional wrap-around piece designed to fully cover the head and transform the volume of the face. Its primary use is as a mask, creating a sculptural and radical silhouette, although it can also be adapted and worn as a hat if desired.

It incorporates a structural elastic band along the lower edge, allowing the piece to be secured beneath the chin while ensuring stability and adaptability to different face shapes and morphologies.
When worn, it allows normal breathing and visibility, while from the outside the face becomes visually diffused through the density of the fabric, creating an effect of anonymity and continuous volume.
It is crafted using the same artisanal three-dimensional textile developed for the Thorn Jacket: a black knit with a lunar motif layered over a copper-toned metallic illusion organza base. The surface is constructed through a structured widthwise gathering technique, compressing the fabric to generate conical volumes that are internally secured with stitching, allowing the structure to permanently retain its shape.
The organza adds depth and a subtle shine that enhances the metallic effect and the contrast between light and shadow. The texture feels both organic and architectural, maintaining its three-dimensional form even in motion.
Thanks to its elastic composition, the piece adapts naturally to the contour of the head without losing its sculptural architecture.
Due to its technical complexity and the high level of artisanal time and craftsmanship required for its construction, this piece is made exclusively to measure.
